Living My Mother's Dream (A Miracle)

A miracle happened last Thursday evening, when I received a 'last-minute' advice or call from the Secretary of a prestigious private Primary School in Rome, Italy. I've always known and seen the Hand and Grace of our Lord JESUS in my life, though my eyes of faith couldn't always see through the circumstances clearly. The answers to my prayers don't always come as quick as I wish. Nevertheless, I have always seen HIS WORD perform HIS Promises always to the T. The miracle is that I have been confirmed as part of their English faculty, and I had to start right away the next day.

English Teacher

| have been teaching English mainly to Italians for 18 years, both freelance and through a private Language school (online), over the last 5 years. This gives me the flexibility to manage my tasks as a mother, wife, and individual. Some say it's challenging to get employed after a certain age. Moreover, I don't hold a qualification or a diploma in Education; all my teaching experiences have been random. If at all, it was my mother who had a Diploma in Teaching, but she never had the opportunity to practice her profession due to family priorities. To augment our income, I applied for an additional job at a Private Primary School three weeks ago. The confirmation came this week. The teaching materials or resources were provided one hour before the class started, and the instructions and codes for using the digital screenboard were given in a flash. I was put in a state of frantic panic. I have never taught in a digitally forward educational system. In the end, it turned out to be a learning experience for me.

As expected of a private school, the barely teenage kids all come from well-off families, yet they're disciplined, friendly, intelligent, and above all, beautiful. We had a simple conversation, mainly about their computer gaming activities, among other things. They seemed enthusiastic, proud, and generally assertive in personality. It was both a pleasure and a privilege for me to be part of this school. This is one of the many miracles I must share to prove how much HE Loves us.
